SERMON TITLE:
Memento Mori; Could Befriending Death Change the World?
 
We are in that season of darkening days, of falling leaves, the shutting down and battening of hatches and the closing of doors. These are times of endings and snuggling-in, when – as we turn inward - our memories of loss and grief may be harder to side-step, and even unsung thoughts of our own demise may tug at the edges of our consciousness.  
 
Could it be that befriending the inevitable, rather than shunning thoughts of it, might offer humanity something brighter than the gloom we currently attribute to that shadowed thing called death?
 
I look forward to being with you and hope you will join us for a soft and brief exploration of one of our most feared, yet unequivocally universal experiences.
